Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Last updated: October 26, 2026
Epicenter So Cal ("Epicenter," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through epicentersocalmarketing.com (the "Site"), our contact and job-application forms, and our text-message program; how we use and share it; and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.
Information We Collect
Information you give us.
- Contact and business inquiries: name, business name, email address, phone number, the topic you choose, and your message.
- Job applicants: first and last name, email address, phone number, the position you are interested in, LinkedIn or portfolio link, resume and anything in it (such as work history, education, and skills), and the answers or message you send us. If you move forward in our hiring process we may also collect interview notes, scheduling details, and information you provide for onboarding.
- Text messages: your mobile number, your consent to receive texts, and your replies (including STOP and HELP).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit, using server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your questions and requests and to provide our services;
- To review applications, contact candidates, schedule interviews, and make hiring and onboarding decisions;
- To send text messages you have agreed to receive (see "Text Messages (SMS)" below);
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand how it is used;
- To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights and the safety of others.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under obligations to protect it and use it only for us. These include our website host (Namecheap), our form-delivery service (FormSubmit), our email provider (Google Workspace), Google Analytics and Google Fonts, and any recruiting or text-messaging platform we use to communicate with applicants.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages.
Text Messages (SMS)
If you check the text-message consent box on one of our forms, or otherwise give us your consent, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Epicenter So Cal about your inquiry or application, such as application updates, interview scheduling and reminders, and onboarding information.
- Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry or where you are in the hiring process.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at HR@epicenter-socal.com or +1 951-477-1821.
- Consent is not a condition of employment, of applying, or of any purchase.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
Cookies, Analytics & Your Choices
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to measure traffic. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, although we do not sell or share personal information.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Contact inquiries are generally kept for up to 24 months. Job-application records are kept for at least the period required by California and federal employment law (generally four years from the date of the hiring decision) and then deleted or de-identified. SMS consent and opt-out records are kept as long as needed to honor your choices and show compliance.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and limited access to application materials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, including a job applicant, you may have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and get a copy of it;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only as permitted for hiring and employment purposes);
- Not be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email HR@epicenter-socal.com with the subject "California Privacy Request" or call +1 951-477-1821. We will verify your identity by matching the information you give us with what we hold, and respond within 45 days (or tell you if we need more time, as the law allows). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. California's "Shine the Light" law also lets residents ask once a year about disclosures to third parties for direct-marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Our job openings are for applicants 18 or older unless a posting says otherwise.
Links to Other Sites
The Site may link to other websites, including our related sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
